Salalah is a beautiful place. There are so many attractions to visit in your limited stay that you need an accomplished local guide. We worked out a comprehnsive 3-day itinerary with Hamid, including East of Salalah, that had a mix of nature, trails, beaches, culture and food. The first thing you will notice about Hamid is his cheerful smile...the next thing you will realize immediately is that, with Hamid, language and culture is not a barrier. Our 5 year old formed an instant friendship with Hamid too! Hamid is extremely accommodating and absolutely fun to hang out with. Like other reviewers have already mentioned, time spent in the car was as much fun as the time spent at the destination spots. Hamid gave us useful pointers prior to a destination, this way we were able to prepare ourselves and enjoy the destination as per our liking and preferences when we actually got there. Darbat valley and Taqa beach were amazing. Thanks to Hamid, we got a healthy and hearty dose of each of these! We left Salalah with good memories, and a promise to return! We had a great time in Salalah. Thanks a ton to Hamed who made our trip a memorable one, he was more than a guide and the way he cares his guests is remarkable. Thank you again :)
