After disembarking in the port of San Basilio you will set off to discover the wonders of this unique city on the north-east side of the Adriatic coast.

07:15 Check-in begins 1 hour prior to departure. It is important to present your passport or identity card. 08:15 Departure from Piran. 10:30 Arrival in the Venetian Lagoon. 11:15 Disembarkation. 11:30 Here the guests can choose the boat transfer (optional and at a cost) which will be accompanied by an experienced guide who will tell you about the sights while sailing through the Giudecca canal. 12:00 Arrival to St. Mark’s square and enjoy the free guided tour. 12:30 Free time 16:00 Meeting in the square for the return. 16:30 Embarkation. 17:00: Departure from Venice. 19:45 Arrival back in Piran. Your Venice experience comes to an end and we can assure you it will be an unforgettable experience you will keep close to heart for years to come.

You can join in our guides to walk to the centre or opt to use our optional guided transfer by boat. Either option will last approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in the centre, you can join our free guided tour of Piazza San Marco. Take a walk in the city, top for a typical Italian lunch, you have enough free time to enjoy the city. You can also choose to take a gondola ride or stop for lunch with our guides. When it is time to return back to the ship, you have 3 options to choose from, you can return by yourself at your leisure and time, you can meet up with our guides who will escort you back on foot, or you can opt for an optional water taxi transfer which will allow you to view the Grand Canal en route to the port. All extras are optional and may be purchased on the ship on the way to Venice.

We enjoyed the trip despite the longer return time (a holiday event forced the ship to change the route). My only complaint is that the ticket showed departure time at 7:15, and it was actually 8:15 which most of the other tourists knew.

The trip was well organised and the guides were brilliant at explaining the history of Venice as well and the details of the day in full. Their translations from Slovenian, German, Italian and English were brilliant! I learnt alot from the trip. You could do as little or as much as you wanted to ...

Their translations from Slovenian, German, Italian and English were brilliant! I learnt alot from the trip. You could do as little or as much as you wanted to do with the group. The tour kept everyone together and were clear so that no extra questions were needed. We loved the gondola ride and it made it much cheaper than if we were going just as a couple. A great day trip and I would highly recommend it!Marianna_V

The day trip was cancelled by Venezia Lines one day before the actual trip due to technical problems. We hope to get a refund. :(

Whirlwind experience of Venice but well organized and enjoyed learning from the guide. Add-on boat rides and lunch made it kind of expensive, but it was convenient and the gondola ride was worth it.

Leider wurden wir am Tag der Abreise genauer gesagt 15 min vor dem eigentlichen eintreffen des Bootes darüber informiert das es keine Fahrt geben wird. Da das Boot einen Motorschaden hätte und man nicht in der Lage wäre einen Ersatz zu organisieren auf die schnelle. Somit war der geplante Trip da...

Da das Boot einen Motorschaden hätte und man nicht in der Lage wäre einen Ersatz zu organisieren auf die schnelle. Somit war der geplante Trip dahin zum Glück mussten wir nicht wie andere extra nach Piran reisen da wir vor Ort eh Urlaub gemacht haben. Im Großen und Ganzen ärgerlich da man extra Kontaktdaten abgeben muß und diese nicht genutzt werden. Mal gespannt bis wann die gebuchten Tickets erstattet werden.Thomas_G

Viator hat unsere Karten falsch gebucht, sodass wir kein Tagesausflugs- sondern ein One-Way-Ticket bekamen. Wir wären beinahe nicht mehr nach Piran zurück gekommen (-) (-)
