The enthusiasm and knowledge of our guide was exceptional. We went back to quite a few places we were introduced to, and would not have known about without the tour. Thank you!Isabella was an excellent guide and we were pleasantly surprised to find there were only 4 of us in our group. We ate and drank our way around Verona and had a very enjoyable time. It was excellent value for money. We would highly recommend.

We booked this tour to see the city and taste the local flavours of Verona, and it did not disappoint! Benedetta was our tour guide and she was phenomenal. We ended up being the only ones on the tour as we went on a Tuesday in March (so not the high season). It was such an amazing way to explore Verona. It was a sunny day so it was lovely walking around. We had 5 different stops and in between Benedetta gave us information about the history of the city and it's food. I think it was a very well paced tour. A good blend of meandering around and then sitting and eating. I was worried that we may still be hungry by the end of the tour but we were actually so full. You definitely get more than enough to eat! At the first stop we could choose a coffee or a juice with a local pastry. The pastry was delicious. We sat in the sun near the arena so it was great people watching and chatting. The next stop we tasted some local wine and had some polpette (meatball snacks). We walked around the local squares and tried to go to a tortellini stop but the restaurant had shut due to a power issue so we went on to the next stop which was wine tasting in a local wine shop. We got to try 3 different local wines (very generous tasting portions) alongside some cheese and breads with salami. Since the pasta shop wasn't open we went to a lovely restaurant instead for some local risotto which was excellent. At this point we were so full we couldn't finish the risotto knowing that gelato was our last time! And of course the gelato was outstanding. I wish I had tried the cream gelato which was handmade in the shop but the mango and lemon was great. None of the locations felt touristy or contrived. We loved Verona because it's a charming, authentic city with a very relaxed and romantic atmosphere. A million times better than Venice for me! I would 100% recommend this tour for seeing Verona. It went above and beyond my expectations! Thank you so much Benedetta!Benedetta was so lovely she really made this tour so special as she was so personable and warm. It was really informative and great value for money. Would highly recommend.
