The tour was a nice overview of Verona covering architecture and history. The guide did not have her sign with her at the meeting point so a little confusing at first. Saw several Verona highlights - Ponte Scaligero bridge, Juliet’s balcony, cable car, and more. Food component a bit lacking though. There was quite a discussion about the famous Verona cake, pandora, but no tasting. We looking at a menu outside a restaurant and discussed some of the dishes. The tour ended with the guide leaving us at a restaurant on our own. She had to get to a doctor’s appointment. We were served some bread, salumi, cheese and wine by the waiter. Other than the wines being from the Veneto region, the other items weren’t very particular to Verona. Overall, it was a pleasant tour.We had never visited Verona before and would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to get to know the city.
