Manuel and Joran were absolutely amazing. We spent almost 12 hours with them and it was like we were all old friends by the time they dropped us back at the hotel. The whole experience was by far one of the best tours my wife and I have ever been on. The level of knowledge and attention to detail were superb and delivered in a way that kept us interested. My wife gets car sick really easily, and although the total drive time was about 6 hours, she never once felt sick. We were able to have lunch at an authentic Mexican restaurant where Manuel and Joran selected several items for us to try while we conversed about local culture. We highly recommend this tour, you won't regret it!!!A private driver was supposed to be with us for 10 hours, completely at our disposal to do whatever else we wanted to do alongside the Chichen Itza visit. A private driver was supposed to be with us for 10 hours, completely at our disposal to do whatever else we wanted to do alongside the Chichen Itza visit. When he dropped us off at 9 am at the ruins we agreed max two hours for the visit and he said he would be waiting for us. By 1045 he had called our guide to say that we could have another 90 minutes wandering round. But we didn’t want that; we wanted to visit a cenote, visit the local town and have lunch. The truth was he was no longer at the ruins but had left and couldn’t get back for at least another 90 minutes. In the end he turned up at 1 pm, two hours late. We were left tired and in the sun waiting for him and not really knowing what was going on. It appears he had a (poorly explained) problem with the vehicle but that was even more worrying if the vehicle needed repairing during our private trip. We have complained to the company and they are ignoring us. Really poor service and really poor for follow-up. Don’t waste your money. The whole experience was top drawer thanks to Gerry.I didn't realise that the guides have to go to university to be qualified but it certainly showed in the way Gerry was able to answer all our questions.Wonderful day with a great guide!

This adventure was absolutely amazing and fun! Manuel made the experience fun and relaxing! He was very knowledgeable and able to speak to all kinds of the history. After the tour we went to a cenote and jumped in to some of the most beautiful and fresh waters you can find. We finished the lovely day off with a yummy Mexican restaurant and it was delicious! Manuel is a great tour guide and anyone who is lucky enough to get him as a guide will be very lucky and have a great experience!!Professor Juan was the best! Professor Juan was the best! He was not only extremely knowledgeable about Chichen Itza, but the Mayan culture as a whole. We laughed and had a great time! It was like we were sight seeing with an old friend! Juan went above and beyond our expectations, right down to arranging a birthday cake for my husband after our amazing lunch! Our experience with Juan made us contact Fernanda to set up another tour, this time to Tulum! Fingers crossed we get the professor as our guide again.Nice, clever and funny tour guide, tasty food and great overall experience. Would recommend Irvin to anyone looking to go to chichen itza
