As a first time visitor to Guatemala and Lake Atitlan, this tour was an excellent introduction to the mayan towns, culture and attractions. The tours to see the weaving/textiles and chocolate in San Juan La Laguna were very nice and informative. We were able to shop very nice items and tasty chocolate. The ride in the local transportation - tuk tuks was a lot of fun and we were able to purchase some local paintings. The restaurant we ate in Santiago Atitlan had really good food. I was surprised that most of these places accepted cards. The boat rides felt safe and allowed excellent views of the lake. Overall, the tour was very nice and well organized. The excursion went according to plan and my only complaint is that the guide, although very nice and helpful, was not knowledgeable enough about the history, culture,....she limited herself to take us from one place to another. For the price we paid I honesly was expecting much more content !!!!!!
