Innisfallen Island is 1.5 km from Ross Castle, a monastery was founded here in 640 AD making it older than the monastery on Skellig Michael! Ruins of a 12th century Augustinian Priory & Romanesque Church are still on the Island today.
Our tours leave daily on our traditional red boats at Reen Pier (near Ross Castle) from 10am-5pm daily and last 1-1.5 hrs. Boats leave every hour on the hour Explore this magical island & learn about its vast history.

Had a great ride to the island and a wonderful walk through all the ruins. We ended up having the whole island to ourselves and even watched a family of deer.

Upon dropping us off at the island he suggested things to do and see. The casual walk around the island was peaceful and enchanting.
