One of the stops on our tour will be the Archaeological Park of Finiq (Phoinike), located 8 km east of today's city of Saranda.
In ancient times the territory belonged to the Kingdom of Epirus, while during the Byzantine period it was expanded.
During the visit to Finiq you can see the ruins of an ancient temple, theater, some Helene homes, Roman baths and a Byzantine church.

Absolutely fantastic tour. I recommend this if you’re looking to see a pre-Hellenistic settlement in this region. It’s a bit of a climb to Finiq but it’s absolutely worth it to see the ruins and the view. Leo was an amazing guide and helped personalize the experience for me. He was very knowledge...
Absolutely fantastic tour. I recommend this if you’re looking to see a pre-Hellenistic settlement in this region. It’s a bit of a climb to Finiq but it’s absolutely worth it to see the ruins and the view. Leo was an amazing guide and helped personalize the experience for me. He was very knowledgeable of the sites and gave me a lot of information! Definitely do this tour alongside Butrint to get a full picture of the Sarandë region.jonilak2021
