We would hightly receommend this tour to learn about the history of Durrham, the Cathedral and St Cuthbert. Peter is a really nice man whose enthusiasm and knowledge brought to life the history of this beautiful city.Peter was an excellent, enthusiastic tour guide who was able to share a lot of the history of Durham from the 600's - 1960's in a very short period of time (and suggest some wonderful photo points). Would recommend the tour to others visiting Durham

An excellent, relaxed, informative introduction to Durham. Our guide Peter was a knowledgeable, enthusiastic, affable chap with an obvious love for the town. Starting at the market place finishing at the Cathedral it was a 90 + minutes educational and fun guide at a relaxed pace. The man even recommended places to eat, pubs to drink in and, even, lent me his umbrella leaving himself open to the elements. As the kids say Legend. An excellent tour. Informed, interesting and friendly. All the things you want - bringing out the best of an outstanding site. A splendid experience!
