Walking Tour Along the San Antonio Riverwalk And Around Downtown
Overview
From the first step of our adventure, I will share fascinating stories about the history, culture, architecture, and people of San Antonio, including the story of the Riverwalk, a hotel that was towed through the streets, another that had the rooms lifted up and stacked on top of each other, and what happened during the siege of the Alamo. See the most haunted hotel in San Antonio (and hear ghost stories) the quaint Arneson River Theater, the Tower of the Americas, San Fernando Cathedral and the romantic Marriage Island, where over 300 couples tie the knot annually. Take your photo on the famous Selina Bridge. Hear how Johnny Cash, Rudolph Valentino, Carol Burnett, Phil Collins, Babe Ruth, Maya Angelou, and Queen Elizabeth II are all connected to the city. I'll answer your questions, leaving you with many memorable stories to share...PLUS...it's a great way to get in your "steps" Are you looking for a gift for that hard-to-buy-for person ? Here it is ! Tour guide Stewart was excellent. I so enjoyed learning more about downtown San Antonio, seeing beautiful old buildings and important places as well as lots along the lovely Riverwalk. Without the Guides help in pointing out markers and significant places, I’d walk right on by and not realize what a special landmark, building or spot it was. Thanks for offering this great opportunity and service. Excellent!susan_r

It is evident that Stewart did his research and homework on the San Antonio area. He was amazing with the details of the city in terms of history, nature, culture, and entertainment. I loved all the mostly unknown stories he explained to me!
