Enjoy the freedom of Washington DC’s updated bike lanes while getting a workout and exploring the city at your leisure. Let the pedal assist eBike whisk you from famous buildings like the White House to sites like the Vietnam Memorial and Lincoln Memorial. Take a nature break and cycle along the Potomac River, or head to one of the area’s extensive bike trails.
Lock up your bike with your provided lock to explore DC museums like the Smithsonian American Art Museum, the National Museum of Natural History and the Newseum. Or perhaps stop to buy lunch at a stylish downtown restaurant. When you've seen the best of Washington, return your bike to pickup location.

- No heart problems or other serious medical conditions
- Near public transportation
- Not wheelchair accessible
- Credit card and valid driver's license or passport are required for rental deposit
- Late returns are subject to overtime charges and late fees
- Participants must read and sign a release from liability agreement prior to rental
- Participants under the age of 18 must wear a helmet
- Please note that due to security at our location, we are unable to hold luggage during your bike rental.
- Must be 16+ to operate an eBike
- Most travelers can participate

Pedal assist bikes, not fully electric. The bike wasn’t in great shape and pretty banged up and things were broken. The guy didn’t know how to use the bike when we asked he was like uhh this button should do this and this one should do this I think. So after spending hundreds of dollars on Viator Travel over the past month, I had to cancel ONE booking…simply ONE! Just ☝🏾…I was in DC, had to cancel a Washington DC e-bike rental due to the weather, they refused to reimburse me. I told them I had to cancel cause the weather was bad and didn’t want my kids riding under such weather conditions. REFUSED. So, because of the weather, that I have no control over, you’re not willing to accommodate? How disappointing. After years of using VIATOR, I definitely will NEVER be using them again. Once again, how disappointing. I guess they needed the money more than I did.
