Our guide was friendly, funny and knowledgeable. The second part of the tour was done on my own because of time.

I had to give a rating because the site demands it but, unfortunately, we were unable to go on this tour as the King's Coronation was scheduled for the same day. I had requested that the tour date be changed, if possible. Having not heard back from the tour company a week before we began our vacation I decided it was best to cancel and have our funds reimbursed. It would have been nice to have had some communication from the tour company before I deemed it necessary to cancel. While I understand that no one could have known the date of the Coronation at the time I booked this tour, I was very disappointed with the communication on this leading me to cancel it.Unfortunately the time keeping was appalling. Unfortunately the time keeping was appalling. The instructions said to meet 10 minutes before the tour at The Westminster Abbey Shop. We, along with several others, promptly arrived 11.20 for 11.30 tour. A tour guide eventually turned up at 11.45. Then another but we had to wait until 12.05 for the third guide. Then it took another 5 minutes to sort out group numbers. We finally started our tour at 12.25…almost an hour late. That put pressure on the rest of our day’s itinerary which was a shame and meant we only had time to do the short, 45 minute self-guided tour of Parliament. Surely, these bookings are made in advance, the tour guides should arrive promptly, be organised with the split of the groups and stick to the times given? It was a wonderful tour. Jane, our guide, was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. We especially enjoyed the Westminster Abby tour.
