Stop At: Carara National Park, Highway 34, Carara Costa Rica
Unveil the complex ecology of the flora and fauna at the Rainforest of Carara National Park.
We will hike through the National Park Trails ranging from secondary forest to primary and old-growth forest.
The canopy will reach more than 40m high with huge wild-cashew trees and figs watching us from above.
This worldwide acclaimed destination for birdwatchers is also full of other vertebrates like mammals (monkeys, agoutis, deers...), amphibians, reptiles, and a myriad of invertebrates dwelling on the forest litter.
You will be in the shoes of an XVIII century naturalist, asking yourself important questions about nature, ecology and contemplating in-depth the magic of the tropics.

Stop At: Jungle Crocodile Safari & Bird Watching Tour, From the Tarcoles, police station head 2 km north to our entrance to the rigth, Provincia de Puntarenas, Tarcoles, 61102, Costa Rica
Tarcoles river is regarded as the most polluted River basin in Central America, one recognition that we costaricans feel very ashamed of. However, we will navigate the Tarcoles river mouth into a mangrove forest where the wetlands will show us all their biodiversity and hopefully start changing the fate of this wonderful place.
Bring your binoculars because we will spot dozens of amazing birds, crocodiles, and other types of lizards on this relaxing but exciting experience with local boatmen.

I had an amazing time with the very knowledgabke tour guides, who were also friendly and full of passion about plants and animal life when I visited the Carrera National Park. I felt like I was experiencing living things for the first time. Charlie and Luis were fantastic in patiently looking for creatures that were difficult for the eye to see, like the poisonous frog, and capturing animals through the telescope like capuchin monkeys, lizards, crocodiles and howling monkeys. I learned a lot about plants, fungi, trees and animals while enjoying the lush forest in a two hour hike. From there we traveled to the crocodile river for a boat tour where we saw numerous birds and animals, and my favorite part was to see the line where the river pours into the Pacific ocean. The food at the seafood restaurant we went to was fresh and delicious, I had a big sea bass which was crispy and very tasty. This team will give you a fantadtic tour and will inspire you with stories, facts and the passion for all living things. Totalmente recomendado

This tour was one of the best tours I’ve done in Costa Rica and thanks to an amazing guide in Rigo! Very friendly and personable wit you, he is like a friend that you don’t even realize he’s a tour operator. This tour consists of first stopping at The crocodile bridge, then walking around and seeing the carara national park and we even saw some animals such as a monkey, and tree frogs, and then the best part at the end where we went to the Tarcoles River to see the wildlife and crocodiles, and so many different type of birds. Rigo was awesome, took really good pictures of us and was very informative throughout his tour, it was basically a private tour as he picks you up from his SUV and takes you everywhere along the way, I would recommend highly of this tour of anyone trying to see the Tarcoles River!
