- Face coverings are no longer mandatory in Windsor Castle, however they are encouraged.
- Download the audio tour in advance, please search for the ‘Stonehenge Audio Tour’ in your App store, until further notice.
- You must bring the e-ticket provided to gain entry to this tour.
- Our vehicles are modern, comfortable, and kept to the highest standards of cleanliness, including a deep clean every day.
- During peak periods, additional vehicles without Wi-Fi may be used. Windsor Castle is a working royal palace and planned closures/disruptions may be subject to change.
- When the State Apartments are closed the Precincts, Queen Mary’s Dolls’ House and the Drawings Gallery will remain open.
- St. George’s Chapel is usually closed to visitors on Sundays as services are held throughout the day. Worshippers are welcome to attend the services. Windsor Castle closures: 25 and 26 December – Castle completely closed.
- Windsor Castle is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. A walking tour of the town will take place instead.
- Due lift maintenance, the walk from Windsor coach park to the Castle will include the use of some stairs.
- Some attractions may have different social distancing measures in place, but the safety and comfort of customers and staff is always the main priority.

We were short of time and wanted to see the Stonehenge and Windsor Castle in on day. The tour guide Ana was amazing the tour pace was perfect. We had ample time at each attraction and lots of rest in between in the comforts coach. Highly recommended !!

Excellent tour. Tour guide Tish was very informative. We had plenty of time to explore both venues. Pickup and drop off were done without any hassle. Would highly recommend this tour with Golden Tours.

Our guide Stephan was great. It was his first trip and he was very good. We needed additional time at Windsor castle. Even an extra half hour at Windsor would of been better.

This was our plan, but….since they could not sell enough seats, it was cancelled. I found out at 9 pm the day before. If I have to give 24 hour notice, so should the operator have to.
