Highly highly recommend a visit to this winery, it was a definite highlight of our time in Montenegro. The winery itself is located in a small but beautiful and rustic town near the top of the hills with amazing views. As a result, the entire atmosphere felt extremely traditional and authentic. We were slightly early for our booking but our host (Maja) was extremely friendly and welcomed us in regardless. We were provided with a wide range of fresh local snacks (cheeses, prosciutto, tapenades, bread, fruit etc.) and tasted their full range of wines (chardonnay + a rose + a red, the latter two made from Vranac grapes I believe) and rakija. Misko and Maja both spoke perfect English and were great hosts, very chatty and informative about the winemaking. You can tell they have a real passion for what they do which made the whole experience so much more enjoyable. The whole tasting was incredible value so if you come to Virpazar or Montenegro, please make sure to include this on your itinerary. Thank you again to Maja and Misko!
