Friends and family happened to be docking on a cruise ship in Picton when I was traveling in Blenheim and had already booked this trip with Pamela. She worked individually with me to pick me up in Blenheim at our local residence, meet the cruise ship, visit four different wineries, plus a lunch spot and chocolate boutique spot and still make it back well in time for their early ship departure. Afterwards, just Pamela and I continued on for a couple more stops back in Blenheim. From my unique vantage point, I had a great education on how flexible and communicative tour operators need to be with both the cruise ship passengers (ex. when the ship docks late) and the cellar door owners. It would have stressed me out to be responsible for it, but Pamela was positive, friendly, upbeat and communicative with all parties throughout the day. She made it clear that it was our/their day (not hers) and she would arrange whatever we were looking to experience (and did!). I highly recommend Pamela and Your Local Chauffeur. She is a multi-generation resident with the "local's" knowledge of the wine region. You won't be disappointed!
