Fantastic tour with an extremely knowledgeable and engaging guide. Becky had me and my teenage daughter totally invested in the stories of the working women of London’s East End and we enjoyed every minute. The time flew by. We were worried it would be too long for us, and we did appreciate the comfort stop in the middle, but the timing was spot on and great value for money. We were left feeling inspired and positive after this thought-provoking and sympathetic tour. Will definitely join another. This tour was a wonderful experience, l learnt so much fascinating stuff. Becky was en excellent guide - knowledgeable, friendly and very interested in the history of women and the roles they have played over the last few hundred years. I highly recommend the East End tour!

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour with Becky who was totally engaging for the 2.5 hours we were with her. Becky obviously knows her subject so well and is passionate about women's history. We learnt so much and visited some wonderful sites in the East End which you could easily walk by and not appreciate fully without a guide, especially the roles women played in their stories. The tour felt Covid-19 safe and was the perfect way to spend our first visit to London for a while. We will definitely book another of the Women of London tours. Thank you!Our tour guide was incredibly knowledgable and clearly very passionate about the subject. Our tour guide was incredibly knowledgable and clearly very passionate about the subject. The tour was mainly focused on the historical, but current events were woven in nicely to complement what we were shown. Our guide pointed out so many things that I never would have notice, even though they were right under out feet! I feel like I gained so much better of an understanding of London’s history from this tour. The working women of the east end is a wonderful alternative look at London and it’s history. The working women of the east end is a wonderful alternative look at London and it’s history. The tour was booked as a gift to my mum and we both had an amazing day. Learnt so many things about the rich history of London’s working class female heroes during the tour and would recommend to anyone. Becky is not only a great guide, but makes the tour fun and conversational. Her passion and knowledge on such a wide range of periods, issues and, most importantly, the women included in the tour, is what makes it such a great day out. Genuinely couldn’t recommend it more!
