Behana Canyon (usually 12 noon – daily)
Your qualified tour guide will take you through on an adventure, the best thing about Behana Canyon experience is that everything on this course is optional & each of our guests can make the choices of what they’d like to do without it affecting the other people in their groups – this makes it ideal for families or those a little nervous or first time canyoners whilst still catering to those more intermediate/advanced levels.

This was the best experience we've had in Australia. Definitely worth it if you love adventure and physical challenges. Spence and Paige were amazing guides and kept us safe. Was a small group which just added to the adventure for all.

This was a great adventure of canyoning & jumping. Pete and his crew were great. Pete loaned his socks to my daughter because her shoes were slipping. His team went above and beyond. My daughter went from not wanting to do the first jump to wanting to do the second jump which was higher. If you are looking for something high adventure around Cairns, I would suggest booking this. Although the walk up is a bit much, the trip down makes up for it and then some.I'm not kidding when I say that this was the best thing I did in Australia. I'm not kidding when I say that this was the best thing I did in Australia. My guides were Marcio (spelling?) and Paige, and they were personable, entertaining, thoughtful, thorough, safety conscious, fun loving...really, I could go on. I did the morning tour and I wanted to, like, do the afternoon tour to do it all over again and hang out with them more. I have been bouldering a few times but never canyoning or anything big like this. I'm not really afraid of heights and wasn't super nervous - but if I had been, they are The Guides to calm anxiety and encourage you to give it a try. They are really safety conscious and want you to be comfortable but also go just past your comfort zone AND HAVE FUN. I would recommend this experience one million times and give it 10 stars if I could. If you're even remotely considering it, go!!!!! and if you're not considering it, you should!!! Also, the loveliest people go on this adventure - I'm a solo traveler and basically got adopted by a lovely family of 4 and they were wonderful, too.Marcel and Paige took great care of us on the adventure. Marcel and Paige took great care of us on the adventure. We were given tops, wetsuits, and the option of renting shoes, in addition to the harnesses and ropes. They thoroughly explained what to expect on each part of the day- whether it was where to step while hiking, where to put arms for cliff jumping, or how to position body during rappelling or sliding through the rapids. It was super fun. We all had a great time (2 adults and 18yr old daughter). They also took photos of us and we had the option of purchasing. This was nice since it wouldn’t have been safe to take our own phone or camera. This was an amazing family experience. This was an amazing family experience. We managed to experience it all from sunshine to rainfall in a remarkable part of the world. Spencer was the best guide making it fun and ensuring we all had the best time possible. The absolute best way on the planet to experiment a waterfall and the QLD tropics. We would do it again in a heartbeat… Spencer, where is the next one??? 😁
