Overview
On this tour we dive into one of the darkest periods of Hamburg’s history, an era which would change the face of this city and the world forever. We talk about the rise of the Nazi party as an event that is intrinsically linked to developments in the preceding decades as well as the 1930’s themselves. We witness visual manisfestations of the Nazi regime and hear some inspiring tales of resistance to it. All the while, we ponder over what purpose the past serves. For no nation can escape its history. And only those who face the past will stand in the future.
