This is a typical itinerary for this product
Pass By: Xi'an City Wall (Chengqiang), Zhongxin District, Xi'an 710001 China
You will meet at an easy-to-find central location and then wind your way through the narrow streets and alleys by tuktuk within the Xi’an City Wall to find the best food in the city. We’ll take you places where only locals go. You’ll cover a lot of ground and get off the beaten path to family-run restaurants that you (and other tourists) won’t find on your own. Between food stops, you’ll be able to chat with your English-speaking guide about the city while drinking unlimited chilled beer and soda during the ride.
Stop At: Muslim Quarter, West of Bell Drum Towers Square , Beilin District, Xi'an 710000 China
While visiting our 4-5 food stops, you will get to learn about the families that have been making their specialties for generations. You’ll watch your food being made and learn about what makes it so special to Xian locals. Whether it’s sitting by an old man grilling meat over coals in a quaint Muslim Quarter alleyway, or watching noodles hand-pulled to order, there is something to try for everyone.
The tour will finish at the only local brewery in Xian where you can tour the facility and sample what’s on tap before we treat you to a pint of your choice.
Duration: 3 hours
Stop At: Near Wall Bar and Xian Brewery, No.40 West Section of Shuncheng South Road, South Gate, Beilin District, Xi'an China
The tour ends at a local brewery where you can sample their craft beer and then enjoy a pint of your choice.
Duration: 30 minutes

This was by far and away the best food I had on my entire trip in China! Not only was the food outstanding but all the local places were so accommodating and inviting. Best soup dumplings in my life! And I now am obsessed with the biam biam noodles and I’m desperately trying to find them in New York. My only regret was not going on the tour as soon as I arrived in Xian because I couldn’t revisit the places before my journey home.Absolutely loved this experience, which took us to places we would never have found by ourselves. What a lovely experience and very highly recommend.

Interesting and at times exciting as we sped through the back streets of the inner city on Tuk Tuks, stopping off at a range of food outlets including homemade spices at a BBQ on the street and a noodle shop with locals. The range of food and a plethora of tastes, smell and sights made this an evening to remember. We didn't have a clue as to what to expect as our tour company just put it on to the itinerary. I think we were the first large group (eight pax) to do it. Usually it caters for singles or couples. We loved our food tour with Susan. The food was great. We loved our food tour with Susan. The food was great. Our guide was very fun told many great stories. We ate so many things that we could not have found on our own and went to very authentic restaurants where the owners treated us like family. My wife and three teenage kids agree it was a highlight of our visit to Xian. We highly recommend the tour, and we will take another Lost Plate tour when we get to Shanghai.Jessie was our guide. Jessie was our guide. Her personality made the tour fly by. She always made sure you had plenty of beverage and plenty of food. But more than that you can tell she has a real passion for Xi'an. So many tour guides are just going through the motions but Jessie had a real gift for what she does. She is informative while being funny and kind. She made the night fly. And the food....good god the food was amazing . We loved the Biang Biang Noodles , the beef skewers, and would kill to have those soup dumplings again. At the end of the night Jessie made sure everyone knew how to get to their hotel safely and offered suggestions for other restaurants. It was the perfect tour. Thank you Jessie!
