Omar was a great tour guide! He went above and beyond showing us the Xunantunich Mayan Ruins and guiding us through the cave tubing. He gave us recommendations on where to eat in Belize City and also helped us find an atm to get Belizean dollars. The lunch was a good Belizean traditional meal. The chicken was very moist. Everything was great and I would recommend. Be aware of his very fast driving. It can make you sick if you get motion sickness.Had an incredible day with Tarik! This review is more for our tour guide Omar. Unfortunately we were not able to go on the purchased tour as weather conditions made it unsafe to travel. Omar was super professional to call/message to let me know, thoroughly explaining the situation. He gave us two viable alternatives or to provide us with a full refund. We went to Lamanai, which was a full day excursion and highly recommended. Couldn’t have had a better experience given the fact we had to pull a last minute audible and it is truly a great experience from a professional and well thought out company. Our guide Omar was very helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating. Our guide Omar was very helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating. He was great to talk to on the long car ride to the Myan Ruins and gave us a lot of info about what we were seeing. He also gave us recommendations for other tours and helped us book another one to the ATM caves. If you get Omar as your guide, you’ll be in good hands. You can definitely trust him. Xunantunich and the cave tubing was a blast. Do yourself a favor and see these sights at least once in your life.Incredible experience with Omar and Rene! Incredible experience with Omar and Rene! Both are so knowledgeable about the city of Belize as you exit and can answer any and all questions about language, history, culture, you name it! They did great with communicating, picking us up where we needed, and adding humor into all their tales of the city. The ruins were immaculate and Omar and Rene gave us rich historical background and made learning fun. They explained the game of Pok-A-Tok as well as the entrance to Xilbalba and pointed out termites nests and how to identify which monkeys were in the trees. The cave tubing experience was just as magical and fun. They took us through the forest, got us into the caves, let us jump off rocks into the pool below and pulled us through the shallow parts to get back to our home destination. Very knowledgeable hosts that made the journey fun, so much history learned and richness of the Mayan culture soaked in throughout the day and very fun to learn about the city of Belize and all it's surrounding beauty. 10/10 recommend!!
