STUPENDOUS!!! You don't know much about coffee until you do this tour. Alex was a fountain of knowledge and good advice. We are coffee connoisseurs but the world of roasting and blending is just another level. The time taken to take us through the tour and refine our bad drinking habits 😃... excellent. We left with a bag of our own roasted coffee beans tooOur family attended this coffee adventure. The tour guide was outstanding- he was also the head roaster. We learnt so much about coffee and we even got to take some home that we made. Highly recommended!
Our family attended this coffee adventure. The tour guide was outstanding- he was also the head roaster. We learnt so much about coffee and we even got to take some home that we made. Highly recommended!I would recommend this to anyone who likes or is interested in coffee. The roaster was professional, courteous and knowledgeable in all things coffee. I asked a few tricky questions and he(Tarn) was more than happy to answer these as we roasted and tasted coffee. Thoroughly enjoyed this.

The first part of the safari was a 5 minute trip through what Yahava has to sell. Then went to the coffee roasting machine and, despite the description saying "help us roast a batch of coffee", we just stood around while the Yahava staff did it. The description also said " Sample coffees, chocolates and other delights from exotic lands and far away places". We sampled coffee and tea but no chocolates. The tasting also included a demo of other various coffee making implements that Yahava sell. Also, despite the safari description saying "...take home the very coffee you helped roast" we did not get the coffee we watched being roasted. On the plus side, the staff were really good and very knowledgable. In summary, for almost $80 per person, this is extremely poor value for money. It should cost at most $30 for what the safari involved. What an amazing experience. You will be taken through the roasting process and then be able to taste the coffee, made in a variety of different ways. The experience overall was excellent and the staff at Yahava are to be commended!
