This 120 min Walking Tour is very comprehensive and includes at least 1 entrance. The 11 AM tour starts at the Greeting to the Sun and the 18:30 PM tour starts from the Land Gate so that we finish in front of the Sunset at the Organs.
The tour is intended for people who have a bigger interest in cultural and historical heritage, architecture and history events. If you want to hear a more detailed story about this old town, enriched with more historical and material facts then you should join this tour. Your tour will be led by a local Croatian licensed guide.

Stop At: Sea Organ (Morske Orgulje), Promenade Istarska Obala - Obale kralja Petra Krešimira IV, Zadar 23000 Croatia
One of the most famous installations from 2005 representing a staircase in a form of a piano keyboard situated on a Promenade of Zadar singing with a help of the sea.

Stop At: The Forum, Zeleni trg Crkva Sv. Donata - Trg Rimskog Foruma, Zadar 23000 Croatia
1st Century BC Roman Forum in the middle of the Peninsula of Zadar surrounded with numerous remains of ancient Roman Architecture.

9th Century AC Church of St.Donatus built in a Pre-romanesque style as a huge Rotunda placed in the middle of the Roman Forum. Possible entrance with tickets on sight.

A 11th Century Benedictine Feminine Convent with a Renaissance Church. The Convent keeps a Permanent Exposition of Religious Arts. Possible entrance with an extra charge. Tickets on sight.

Our two hour walking tour of Zadar was first rate! Our guide was a native of the area, and had comprehensive knowledge of the history and culture. She took us to many places that we would not have otherwise visited such as an orthodox church and an artist's cooperative selling art in an old church. We got to sample the Maraska liqueur maraschino, and sample Pag (sheep milk) cheese, unique to a particular island. I would highly recommend this tour!Chris J

The Zadar City Tour was the highlight of our time in Zadar. Dorja was friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about the city's very complex and robust history. We even stopped by a few shops where we could sample the local cheese and famous cherry liquor. In two short hours we learned and saw more than we could ever do on our own. Dorja remarkably ended the tour right before sunset at the enchanting Sea Organ where we sat on the steps watching the sun ease into the ocean while listening to the waves make beautiful music. Can't recommend this enough!Sam_B

Great walking tour, it was a great way to get introduced to the city. Nice small group size so everyone could easily hear the guide. Dorja made the next few days easier by pointing out other events in the city over the following days.

This was one of the best walking tours we have experienced throughout our travels. Doria was very informative, interesting, and engaging. I would definitely recommend taking this tour of Zadar with her. We also really appreciated hearing her personal insight on growing up in the former Yugoslavia...
