Stop At: Biblioteca Nazionale Centrale, Piazza Dei Cavalleggeri 1, 50122, Florence Italy
Check-in and departure point
Duration: 15 minutes
Stop At: Via San Piero di Sotto 1 c/o Villa le Corti, 50026, San Casciano in Val di Pesa Italy
Our first stop of the day is at a beautiful winery belonging to one of the most prestigious Italian aristocratic families. Here we taste three wines paired with cured meats and two olive oils but first, there’s a fascinating guided tour of the historic wine cellars and to the olive mill through underground tunnels that pass under the villa.
Duration: 2 hours
Stop At: Località Rignana, 50022 Greve in Chianti FI, Italy
Now buckle-up and get ready for some off-roading through ancient woodland and rolling hills, outlined with cypress trees and dotted with rustic farms and churches, to make our way to a typical Tuscan winery restaurant with stunning views. Here is where we will really get your taste buds tingling with delicious food and wine. You will not want to leave!
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
Stop At: Poggio Torselli, Via Scopeti 10, 50026, San Casciano in Val di Pesa Italy
We go deeper into the Chianti hills and enjoy more incredible countryside on our way to a Chianti Classico vineyard. As a contrast to the established winery of the morning, this one is smaller and less known though does have two award winning wines which you will taste as you find out how ancient tradition and innovation have been combined to create them.
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

What an amazing day we had today on this Chianti wine and food safari in the Tuscan hills. Our guide, Angela, was wonderful and looked after the group so well. We had 3 stops beginning at a beautiful villa with views over the vineyards and towards Florence which were stunning. We tried many lovely wines during the day, enjoyed an extra virgin olive oil tasting and had a delicious lunch off the beaten track (luckily our off-road vehicle made the access much more comfortable!). Thank you to our great driver too. What a day to remember.Alessandro and Labi were suchhhh amazing your guides to have. So fun, so knowledgeable and the ride was so fun and required such skill. This felt like such a VIP experience but also like we were among friends or family just learning, drinking, and eating. You have to do this!

What an absolute treat of a tour this was! Angie, our guide; was so knowledgeable, helpful, and pleasant to be around. We learned so much about chianti and tried 10 different wines overall. I’m vegetarian, and eat location was able to give me a vegetarian alternative. Angie would always check to make sure I got my food. Each location was more beautiful than the next, and we loved it all. Thanks so much Angie! And also to our wonderful safari driver Nando :)Lavi and Enrique were great. Lavi broke down the making of wines and the different categories of wines in a chill/fun way to learn. She was very a knowledgeable and the best guide you could ask for. The rig/truck itself was awesome and fun to see parts of Tuscany you wouldn’t be able to otherwise...

The 3 stops were all great- beautiful scenery, lots of wine, and really good food to enjoy throughout the excursionAlexander was amazing. He has a great love for the Chianti region and it shows in all of the information that he shared with us. The people on this tour was a added bonus— everyone so kind and engaging. A wonderful day!
