Richardo made this tour great. He was well informed about all of the food and drinks that we ate on the tour and knew Porto well. We enjoyed being about to sample the different pastries, wines and local foods and getting information about the origins of the food. There was plenty to eat and drink and we stopped at memorable shops. It was nice having only 10 persons in the group. I would recommend this tour as a perfect orientation to eating and drinking in Porto. We loved the Vintage and Port Wine Food Tour with Taste Porto! We’re so happy we took this tour early on during our time in Porto because the guides gave us so many other great recommendations! This a must do in Porto!!This was a wonderful, fun 3.5 hours. This was a wonderful, fun 3.5 hours. We spent 2 hours at the Bolhao Market tasting various foods and wine then went to two restaurants for more food and wine. Our tour leader (Marte ?) was very knowledgeable and made sure we all had a fun experience. There were 11 of us on the tour. I would highly recommend this tour. We were also given recommendations for other restaurants and specialty food shops in Porto. We had a wonderful time, worked out there were just four people on the tour, but the tours are typically small either way from what we understand. Our host, Sergio, was gracious, fun, and very knowledgeable. We definitely would do this tour again!

This tour was not for me one bit. I've done several food tours in Portugal and this by far was the worst value for money. What you get is more or less a few snacks with their being more wine than food. I don't want to be too harsh on the guide because it could be some people's thing, but conversation between the people on the tour was hard to make as the the guide was very focused on telling us the history of porto - again, could be someone else's preference. But my experience with any other food tour there has been a focus on creating a bond and good conversation between people on the tour. There was times I thought of a question to ask the guide and I was waiting for 10 minutes just for a gap in the tour guides talking to fit my question in. Even if you enjoy history and wine, it would be significantly better value for money going on a historic walking tour and a port wine tasting. Very disappointedI loved this food tour! Inez was our guide and I loved her energy and love for the city (and its food!). You go to more places than just the market, but the market was awesome. I loved this food tour! Inez was our guide and I loved her energy and love for the city (and its food!). You go to more places than just the market, but the market was awesome. It was so fun to go back and forth between tasting wine and meats and cheeses. There is plenty of food on this tour- I was stuffed with both sweet and savory dishes, and plenty to drink as well: 3 glasses of wine and an espresso during the whole tour.
