One not to be missed whilst you’re in Palermo! We visited the Palazzo Conte Federico yesterday and were welcomed by Andreas, who gave us both a fantastic and enthusiastic tour of his family home. Not only did we learn about the history of the city more thoroughly, and the development of the Palace itself, but we really enjoyed hearing about the family and various anecdotes. It felt like a very unique and personal tour (delivered in both Italian and English); much more intimate than any I’ve been on before. The family are doing a brilliant job and I would thoroughly recommend visiting - certainly a highlight of our stay!Very special tour, to be shown the Palazzo by the son of the Federico family. It’s a real insight into their family history and the Palermo history of the Palazzo and the city.
