Thanks to George, we were able to navigate the Spanish tapas scene like locals!! We took this tour at the beginning of our trip to Spain and we learned a lot about local customs and what to look for to find the best tapas. We're so glad we did this tour because it made the rest of our trip so much better than if we tried to navigate Madrid on our own. We also learned a lot of great history which made our visits to museums like the Prado better too. Highly recommend! The food was incredible, but the wine was otherworldly. The history part was nice because I don’t know about Spains history. But the highlight was our guide Cassie. Our tour leader, Ellie, was excellent. She offered historical commentary about Madrid and Spain equal to that of a University Professor. She was funny and offered the connection between Spanish history and the food we were enjoying. Our visit included some of the oldest establishments in Madrid and how they shared a connection with history. Truly a memorable evening! Oh and we had lots of great tapas and beverages as well.
